REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

TOWNSHIP OF LONG HILL, MORRIS COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
ENERGY AUDIT SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals for ENERGY AUDIT SERVICES. will be received by the Township of Long Hill, County of Morris, State on New Jersey, at the Township Municipal Building, 915 Valley Road, Gillette, New Jersey before the close of business (4:30pm) prevailing time, on Monday, July 31, 2018. 

This proposal is being sought pursuant to Local Public Contracts Laws.

Proposal documents and specifications can be picked up at the Township Clerk’s office, 915 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays or 8:30am to 6:00pm on Wednesdays or 8:30am-2:00pm on Fridays.  Same may be electronically received by emailing your request for the RFP document to municipalclerk@longhillnj.gov.  You must include the firm’s name, address, a contact name, contact email address, telephone number and fax number in the email.  Please indicate “RFP – ENERGY AUDIT SERVICES” in the subject line of the email.

All proposals must be enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, properly endorsed with the name of the proposer, with the designation “TOWNSHIP OF LONG HILL, SEALED PROPOSAL, RFP-ENERGY AUDIT SERVICES, TUESDAY, JULY 31, 2018”.  Any envelope that is received that is not properly marked causing it to be opened prior to the proposal opening will be invalidated.  Proposals may be received before the day designated in the Township Clerk’s office, if they are mailed or hand delivered in person.  The Township of Long Hill will not be responsible for any proposal that is sent by mail or other form of carrier which is lost or which arrives after the receipt date of TUESDAY, JULY 31, 2018.

Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.  Bidders must comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, Chapter 33, requiring stockholders’ and partnership names.

The Township of Long Hill reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or any part thereof, and to waive any informalities therein and to award the proposal in the best interest of the Township.
