September 8, 2023 Lake Dance Update:
Unfortunately, due to thunderstorms in the area, we have to cancel the lake dance.
Unfortunately, there is too much uncertainty in the forecasts we are watching. Should
something suddenly come up upon us, we would have 200 kids next to a large body of
water with no shelter to get them to.
If we are able to reschedule, we will post that message here.

WE NEED CHAPERONES! Please contact the Rec Dept if you can
volunteer your time to help out. We can only run the dance if we get enough
chaperones.
Dances are held twice per year--one in June and one in
September. The June dance is for Long Hill Students in grades 5-7; and the
September dance is for Long Hill students in Grades 6-8. More information will be
posted here when dates are selected and details are available. These dances are
held at Stirling Lake on the beach. Swimming/water activities are strictly
prohibited during the dances. Parent chaperones are always needed. If you are
available to help chaperone, please contact the Recreation Dept.
